Desperate Samsung Redesigns Banned Galaxy Tablets to Include Printer

As it remains banned in Germany, Samsung has redesigned the Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet to include a printer, avoiding all similarity with Apple's iPad.

In a move that many industry analysts describe as “amazingly innovative”, Samsung Electronics has announced today it will be launching a brand new version of its notorious Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet.

The popular Android tablet came under fire from Apple, which is trying to get all Samsung Galaxy products banned in Europe, claiming that its hallmark designs were “slavishly copied”.

Last Friday a German court ruled that Samsung must stop selling its Galaxy Tab in Germany, probably due to the flirty Apple sales people that offered free iPads to all court personnel.

Samsung surprises with unexpected innovation

To strike back, Samsung has quickly decided to dramatically redesign the Galaxy Tab, in such a fashion that it will definitely not resemble Apple’s iPad: It will include a printer.

Geesung Choi, CEO of Samsung Electronics, told reporters today that “we realized that this is the logical next step in tablet innovation. Now, we can sell something even better. The new Galaxy Tab 10.1 & Print includes a high-quality, full-color A5-size printer!”

The new model is simply stunning, boasting a sleek 2-inch thin design with built-in inkjet printer and paper tray, which delivers top-notch photo prints. “It is so convenient. You can print anywhere!”, said Mr. Choi, while carefully balancing the 1759 gram weighing tablet-printer on one hand. “Nothing like the iPad, huh?”, he smiled.

Tech websites in Germany responded enthusiastically, praising Samsung for its clever approach. “It’s brilliant, I love it”, says Gunter Brenner, Editor in Chief of Chip Online, “I think it will be even better when I get that 500 sheet tray extension to go with it”.

Haha! That Galaxy tab must have been crushing his leg under it’s immense weight.

You do say 95% of it is made up…although you can’t say that for sure just yet 😛
