Microsoft Experts Explain Why Windows 8 Will Be Completely Free

Windows 8, which Microsoft reveals to developers today, will be completely FREE! Our shocked experts wonder how on earth that could be.

Today Microsoft is revealing more of Windows 8, the next version of Windows to be released in 2012, or possibly earlier if Steve Ballmer gets drunk again. It’s got a sexy Metro user interface, it can run on ARM processors and sunflower oil, and you can still play Patience on it. And best of all: It will be completely FREE! Let’s hear what Microsoft experts think of that.

Martin Schmidt
SSL Accelerator

Well, it has pop-up videos with Steve Ballmer in which he personally reminds you to "donate". Creepy, really, 'cause he's naked too.

Martha Lombardo
Webdesign Guru Impersonator

I would really prefer they would remove the word FREE from each and every button and menu option. Hmm, maybe there's a license for that?

Ben Choi
Mainframe Cleaner

There's something really dark about this. I'm betting on haunted tablets, screaming at you for a license while sucking your blood. Huhuh, cool!
