HTML5 to include new elements for adult content
Although the new HTML5 standard offers many improvements, many of the major businesses in the field of adult entertainment were not satisfied with the elements added to the specification. For this reason, the World Wide Adult Entertainment Consortium (W3X) was brought to life by a number of leading publishers, such as Larry Flint Publications, Penthouse, Vivid Entertainment and Private Media Group.
Representatives of the W3X infiltrated deeply in the Web Hypertext Application Technology Working Group (WHAT-WG) community, lobbying for inclusion of new tags to be used with adult web content, arguing that with so many websites displaying porn, the HTML5 standard should facilitate the most popular content. Dick Cummings, spokesman for the W3X, recently revealed the achievements of the consortium on a release party in San Fernando valley.
On this occasion, Mr. Cummings announced that the W3C has finally agreed to include the a number of new tags and attributes to the HTML5 specification. The new tags will help browser vendors to treat adult content elements differently, allowing for a more personalized browsing experience. The new tags also allow search engines to easily find specific content.
The new tags will be:
- <fuck>, to be used for any kind of intercourse. Allowed attributes and values include hairy (“cunt”, “dick” or “both”), condom (“yes” or “no”) and position (“from-behind”, “on-top” or “alternative”)
- <blowjob>, to be used for fellatio; allowed attributes and values are deepthroat (“yes”, “no”), dicklength (in inches), and swallows (“all”, “partly”, or “none”).
- <cumshot>, to be used for the ejection of fluids; allowed attributes and values are placement (“face”, “chest” or “ass”), and multiple (“yes”, “no”)
- <fetish>, to be used for abnormal obsessions; with attribute type (“foot”, “bdsm”, “uniform” or “other”
- <groupsex>, a convenient container tag for fuck, blowjob and cumshot.
Mr. Cummings told the audience that the W3X is very pleased with the result, but admitted that the negotiations had required many, many free lifetime memberships for WHAT-WG and W3C community members.
